Minimum Configuration Requirements

filePro ® Plus

• Windows Network Windows 7 or later.
• RAM: 48 MB
• Disk Space: 20 MB

If you are running Windows 7 or later, the minimum RAM requirements for Windows 7 will usually allow you to run filePro applications satisfactorily. Additional RAM may be required for Peer-to-Peer Network Servers to achieve acceptable performance for filePro if the machine designated as the filePro file Server is also used as a workstation and/or provides other services such as printing, FAX services, etc.

• LINUX/UNIX/UNIXWARE/FREEBSD
• RAM: 64 MB
• Disk Space: 20 MB

Note: RAM requirements will depend on how many simultaneous connections are expected, other server tasks and the demands placed on the server for your application. If you experience performance problems, additional memory may help.

The LINUX version requires libtermcap.so.2 and several other libraries.

If 64-bit O/S, needs to check if 32-bit compatibility libs are installed. The following should tell you if the 32 bit libraries are installed:

      yum check --quiet glibc.i686

To install 64-bit libs:
      yum update libxml2.i86_64
      yum install unixODBC.x86_64

To install 32-bit libs:
      yum install glibc.i686
      yum install libxml2.i686
      yum install libstdc++.i686
      yum install unixODBC.i686

     cd /usr/lib
     ln -s libodbc.so.2 libodbc.so.1

GIServer

• RAM: 96 MB
• Disk Space: 2MB

fileProGI Client

• Windows XP or higher

• RAM: 64MB
• Video: SVGA capable of at least 800x600 resolution.
• Disk Space: 20 MB
